Visit The Fusilier Museum which is home to the collections of the XX Lancashire Fusiliers and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Take a ride on the East Lancs Railway to see the countryside, or visit the Bury Transport Museum for a history lesson in the industrial heritage of the North West with stunningly restored vehicles and interactive exhibits. For some culture visit the Whitefield Garrick Theatre or the Rochdale Curtain Theatre for productions and exhibitions from local artists.
Bury Market is a must-see. It’s world famous and a foodies paradise. Voted the best market in Britain, you can find everything from the best fresh, local produce, to electricals, clothing and tools. Bury Mill Gate is located in the heart of Bury and offers high street stores with easy access by car, metrolink or bus.
